EuroEyes Philosophy

1. ISO 9001:2008 Certification and LASIK TÜV Quality Assurance

All EuroEyes Clinics are certified according to ISO 9001:2008 standards. All steps and measures from hygiene during the surgical procedure and patient accompaniment through to pre and postoperative patient care are carefully analysed and described. A decade of experience in eye surgery provides the patient with maximal quality assurance. Additionally, most EuroEyes Clinics are LASIK TÜV certified and thereby fulfill the strict TÜV-Süd requirements. The TÜV seal helps inform the patients and assists in choosing a professional clinic. It attests the highest possible quality standards in the clinical process. All EuroEyes Clinics are state licensed (§30 GWO), making it possible for stationary patients to be admitted and medically cared for should it be indicated or medically necessary.

2. Scientific Analysis and Result Optimisation

With more than 300,000 refractive procedures EuroEyes has performed the highest number of laser surgeries in Germany. The results of the surgeries are analyzed and evaluated within the EuroEyes Clinics. Postoperative results can be compared since all EuroEyes Clinics are linked to one another. This offers continuous optimisation of results and guarantees first class quality assurance. Particularly in the area of Aberrometer-guided/Custom LASIK EuroEyes is one of the most experienced clinics in Europe. EuroEyes is a member of the VSDAR (Association of Special Clinics in Germany for Eye Laser and Refractive Surgery)

3. Minimising Complications

EuroEyes employs only "high volume surgeons" who have already independently performed thousands of surgeries. They are even among Germany's best surgeons.

4. Newest Eye Laser Technology to Achieve the Goal: "Quality of Vision"

EuroEyes Clinics continuously invests in the newest and best instrumentation for all surgical operations, including eye laser. Thus EuroEyes is always at the forefront of laser technology (see Femto-LASIK/Intracor). Our lasers are continuously and regularly serviced and maintained to keep them in perfect working condition and thereby achieve optimal quality assurance. Safety, surgical quality and patient comfort are our top priorities.

EuroEyes' primary goal is not only to correct refractive errors but also to improve quality of vision in general. Quality of vision refers to the reduction of aberrations (irregularities in the cornea) that are responsible for glare, reduced contrast sensitivity, and poor night vision. With the use of aberrometer guided LASIK, these aberrations can be corrected alongside with a correction of refractive errors.
