8 Reasons for Choosing EuroEyes

1. Experience

With more than 300,000 refractive procedures, EuroEyes is the leading clinical group in Germany!

The EuroEyes Clinical Group is the largest independent clinical group in Germany for eye laser surgery, and has carried out more than 300,000 refractive procedures since the opening in 1993. This makes it one of the most successful institutes in Europe for refractive eye surgery. EuroEyes uses doctors with significant experience in LASIK, LASEK, PRK (eye laser treatment), and intraocular lens implants.

2. Top Surgeons for Your Eyes

The eye surgeon has the final word.

If you are considering an eye laser treatment, you should not compromise on experience nor on the skills of the laser surgeons. EuroEyes only employ the very best surgeons, and is therefore able to offer the best possible laser treatment for your eyes with the lowest possible risk. We are convinced that you will not find more experienced and qualified eye laser surgeons than the EuroEyes surgeons. In direct contrast to laser centres where many eye surgeons perform relatively few treatments per person, the EuroEyes surgeons are all "High Volume Surgeons", which means that they each independently carry out at least 1,000 surgeries per year.

3. Quality

LASIK-TÜV Certified!
The eye laser centres of the EuroEyes Clinical Group are all certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2008, and thereby have very high standards within quality assessment and patient safety. Furthermore, most of the EuroEyes Clinics are certified with the seal of approval for eye laser treatments, LASIK-TÜV. Detailed analysis of the entire treatment process takes place from the treatment preparation through pre- and postoperative care and hygiene, these all being accurately documented and continuously reviewed. The significant experience in eye surgery ensures a maximal level of quality and success. The EuroEyes clinics are all state registered clinics, and all clinics have the possibility to admit patients overnight for medical observation should this be necessary.

4. Science

Continuous result analysis and optimisation within the EuroEyes Clinical Group!
The results of every treatment are analysed, and comparisons are continuously made between the individual EuroEyes clinics, in doing so optimising the clinical outcomes in all the EuroEyes clinics. This continuing scientific analysis and awareness is also seen by the fact that EuroEyes to date has completed most Wavefront-guided LASIK treatments.

5. Safety & Quality

EuroEyes continually invests in the best equipment in order to keep at the forefront of laser technology. Our State-of-the-art technology ensures maximum safety. Eye Tracker and Iris Recognition guarantee maximum precision. The primary aim of EuroEyes is to improve our patients overall quality of vision (improved contrast sensitivety and less glare), in addition to ridding them of their contact lenses and/or glasses.

6. The Optimal Correction of Refractive Errors

"High-End" LASIK is our standard. Each patient receives an individually and medically tailored laser treatment. Thanks to the wavefront the individual caracteristics of the eye ("the genetic fingerprint") are discovered. On the basis of these measurements the laser can carry out a personalised laser treatment.

7. Reputation

Our knowledge and experience in the area of refractive surgery is nationally and internationally renown. The EuroEyes Clinical Group is medically lead by the founders, Dr. Jørgensen and Prof. Dr. Neuhann. Both among Germany's top doctors. Most of the EuroEyes doctors hold positions as Instructors with the Refractive Surgery Commission (KRC) and the German Ophthalmologic Association (DOG). In parallel with the daily surgical practice, a constant scientific research takes place to achieve the best possible treatment for every patient.

8. The Entire Surgical Range

EuroEyes offers the complete spectrum of refractive surgery options, which in addition to laser surgery includes the implantation of intraocular contact lenses (ICL and phakic lenses), the implantation of multifocal intraocular lenses, and toric lenses, as well as the insertion of intracorneal rings. With this full range of specialised diagnostic equipment and surgical therapy options, EuroEyes is able to help patients with high levels of refractive errors or thin corneas, who normally are not qualified for LASIK treatment. EuroEyes is Europe's most experienced and has performed most eye treatments in this field of expertise (Multifocal lenses, ICL lenses, and toric lenses).
